How Easy Is It To Compare Car Subscriptions?

Car Subscription seems to be the new buzz word for short-term car leasing, offering flexible cars on a month-to-month basis. The number of providers of vehicle subscription companies has also increased with Cazoo, Cocoon, Pivotal and ONTO all making various appearances.

But it can be really difficult to compare each subscription company, so a small company based in Derbyshire has provided a great solution to the problem by providing a portal where consumers and businesses can see all of the available companies and compare their services.

Car-subscriptions.co.uk offers an easy-to-use platform with a mobile friendly site that displays each car subscription along with the pro’s and con’s for each.

Regular blog posts explain how car subscriptions work, the companies that provide insurance with their subscriptions and recently, electric car subscriptions.

“We wanted to be able to offer readers a platform where they could see all of the important features of each company” explains Ben, a web developer for High Heel Creative based in Belper.

“Many of the companies offer a great headline price but may want a long-term commitment, which doesn’t suit everyone. We are trying to show this using our website.”

As well as features, the website also display real customer reviews taken from trusted sources. Some of these are provided by the companies, others are taken from review sites such as Google my Business.

“The website is paid for by advertising and affiliate links, we try and make this as clear as possible. No provider has an input on what is written on the site, but they can suggest changes which get checked by our editorial team.”

“Those who run car subscription companies can also put their business forwards, we check every company out before considering listing them online. This includes making sure they are registered with the FCA, Data Protection and that they haven’t got similar failed companies in the past. There are a lot of rogue companies in the industry.”

The car subscription website currently has 12 different providers on the website with the most popular company being Cazoo and Care by Volvo. Providers include manufacturer backed schemes as well as multi-brand companies.

Some of the businesses offer just new cars, others offer used vehicles. There is also a handful of companies that cater for non-status and bad credit customers.

“We really want to be the first point for anyone considering a flexible car arrangement, with honest and upfront views, take a look at our website today.”
