With Expo 2020 Dubai ending on 31 March, Victor AI, founder and CEO of Terminus Group, and the Expo Dubai 2020 and District 2020 leadership team have held a post-event strategic co-operation meeting, with the development of AI CITY platforms, in the UAE and region a key discussion point.
Present at the meeting were: Victor AI, Founder and CEO, Terminus Group; Dr Tarek Shayya, Executive Vice-Chairman of the board of directors, Expo 2020 Dubai; Mohammed Al Hashmi, CTO, Expo 2020 Dubai; Sanjive Khosla, Senior VP of Transition Unit, District 2020; and Nadimeh Mehra, VP District 2020.
Held at Terminus Group’s new regional HQ, at Expo 2020, Dr. Tarek, said: “We are honoured to have partnered with Terminus Group and have been extremely impressed by the company’s smart technology offerings, as well as the seamless and efficient way in which it has not only integrated its smart tech into Expo 2020, but also enhanced the visitor experience – beyond all expectations.”
Terminus Group, an Official Premier Partner of Expo 2020, is the AIoT and AI CITY specialist responsible for developing the event’s iconic orange robot mascot, Opti, while also providing 152 Titan Series robots to enhance the visitor experience. Terminus Group also supplied the automated delivery robots for Talabat’s food deliveries, across the Expo site, along with other smart solutions, including an AI-powered wireless network.
Mohammed Al Hashmi, added, “Expo 2020 Dubai has been an unrivalled platform for showcasing the world’s cutting-edge technology to global visitors, businesses, and international governments alike; and this has been achieved in abundance with Terminus Group.”
