Following a hugely successful first season, garnering over 2 million views across social media, Jack Parsons’ ‘My Duvet Flip’ podcast returns for another season. In the series, Jack interviews business leaders and politicians as they share everything they’ve learnt throughout their careers with the aim of motivating young people to flip the duvet in the morning and thrive.

The first spotlight of the new series is all about learning lessons from some of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world. Jack is joined by stellar guests such as former Dragon’s Den star Theo Paphitis, Executive Chair of Ann Summers, Jacqueline Gold, Octopus Energy Founder and CEO, Greg Jackson and the Founder of Mulberry, Roger Saul. In the episode, Jack and the guests talk about their journey to where they are now, reflecting on their successes and failures and giving advice to young people who might find themselves in a similar situation.

Jack and the team at Youth Group have worked closely with Aviva and EY on My Duvet Flip to get such a diverse line up of successful guests and Jack hopes that this spotlight will help young entrepreneurs thrive with their businesses.

Theo Paphitis, former Dragon’s Den star, mentioned how it was “great to discuss with Jack some of the opportunities that are available to young people”, after talking about how young people can make the most of the chances they have to kick start their career.

Jack started the podcast, originally just for one season, after struggling with his own motivation during lockdown. However, after 750000 young people responded with positive engagements through likes and comments, it was clear that the series provided some valuable lessons for young people.

Jack Parsons, UK’s Chief Youth Officer comments “Entrepreneurship is all across this country and there are so many ideas and there is so much creativity thinking everywhere. We just need to provide the right information so young people can create some of the best companies yet to come… and that’s why I’m so excited for Spotlight 1 of My Duvet Flip: Top Tips from Entrepreneurs.”

Overall it is so encouraging to see such influential figures come together with Jack to produce real, meaningful content that can help young people thrive in their businesses. The latest spotlight of the ‘My Duvet Flip’ Youthcast is now live on Jack Parsons’ YouTube channel. Keep your eyes peeled across Jack’s social media channels for some smaller clips too!
