Ryanair flight is turned into a Beyonce concert at 30,000 feet

A HILARIOUS VIDEO shows the moment that a Ryanair flight was turned into a Beyoncé concert while flying at 30,000 feet.

The flight was journeying between Dublin and Newcastle as the singer was playing in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear earlier this week.

Anna O’Hanlon captured the hilarious scenes which unfolded onboard the aircraft as she travelled with friends to enjoy the Renaissance tour from her home in the Irish capital.

The 29-year-old from Phibsborough, Dublin can be heard shouting: “If y’all are going to Beyoncé, say hey Ms Carter.”

The hair stylist then spins her camera around to show several delighted women who are whooping and seem very excited to attend the gig at Sunderland AFC’s Stadium of Light.

Anna’s video then cuts to a group of people at the front of the plane singing Beyoncé’s much loved hit ‘Love on top’.

Whilst a large number of passengers appear to be having a lot of fun on their travel across the Irish Sea, a few others seem very bored of the unofficial on-board entertainment.

Anna uploaded her video to social media yesterday writing: “This flight is a vibe.”

She also uploaded text which sits on the screen throughout the video which reads: “Dublin en route to Beyoncé.”

The video was liked by more than 68,000 social media users and received hundreds of comments from viewers who loved the atmosphere onboard.

One wrote: “I’d feel so embarrassed if nobody said hey Mrs Carter.”

Another commented: “Imagine being there and trying to have a nap.”

A third added: “Girrrrl you guys can SING!”

Another replied: “You are the main character.”

A fifth responded: “Irish people always have the best vibes. Love us.”

Speaking today Anna said: “The flight was full of Beyoncé fans flying from Dublin to Newcastle to her see her live in concert.

“I was with my two best friends, we could feel the good energy and started a singsong.

“That’s when I said “if your going to Beyoncé say heyyy Ms Carter!”

“Everyone replied with “hey Ms Carter.”

“I’d do that day all over again in a heartbeat also Beyoncé was incredible live.

“I made my whole outfit, I sewed each rhinestone tassel on my shorts and made my hat also with disco ball mirror tiles.

“Beyoncé was incredible live. She sounds better in person than she does on her album.”

The concert in Sunderland housed 40,000 Beyoncé fans however those coming from overseas had to fly into Newcastle airport as it is the closest local airport to the city of Sunderland.

This fact is often used as a point of friendly banter between the two cities with Geordies reminding their Mackem neighbours that they have to fly from Newcastle to get to Spain.
