Kimberly Thomson has held her role as head of tax at Henderson Loggie since 2019.

She said: “I am honoured to join the ICAS Tax Board.

“I look forward to sharing my expertise in tax policy and owner-managed businesses to help shape effective and ethical tax practices.

“My experience in international tax matters and understanding the impact tax changes have on owner-managed businesses, will enable me to contribute meaningfully to our discussions and initiatives.

“I am excited to collaborate with fellow board members to promote transparency, compliance, and fairness within the tax system.”

Her expertise in international tax matters has made her well-equipped to deal with complex regulations and their implications for different business structures.

The Tax Board meets three times a year and includes five committees focused on various tax areas, such as indirect tax, international and large business taxes, private client, devolved taxes, and owner-managed business taxes.
