Everton fans left appalled by state of pints served up on away day

by Glasgow Report
in Sports

EVERTON fans have been left appalled by the dire state of the pints served up during an away day trip to Villa Park.

The Scouse outfit faced Aston Villa on Saturday but suffered a gruelling 3-2 loss, leaving them rock bottom of the league with four defeats in four games.

It wasn’t just the final score that left fans fuming though, with punters looking for a pint sorely disappointed by what they were served up.

Whilst around £5 for a pint in a London ground could be worse considering the capital’s notoriously expensive booze, the state of the drinks served up was the main talking point for fans.

The atrocious pints were served up to disappointed punters.

Bar staff at the 42,640-seater stadium were seemingly unable to pull a pint properly as fan Chloe Baines showed with a snap of the appalling pours she shared online

The images show three pints on the bar, each as bad as the last.

The first pint of Carling contains a slither of beer at the bottom of the glass, with the rest of the vessel filled with white foam.

The next drink consists of the golden beer about two thirds of the way up, before the white head takes over, overflowing above the rim.

The last drink is a straight half-and-half of beer and head, whilst in the background a bashful looking bartender has another glass held up to the tap in an effort to pull a proper pint.

The foam filled Carling glasses created outrage on social media with users ripping into the bar staff for their horrific pours.

Chloe shared the photo to social media on Saturday with the caption: “Villa away.”

The post has since received over 6,400 likes and more than 115 comments from appalled footy fans.

One user said: “You want a flake with that love?”

Another wrote: “Tell them to put some lager in it.”

A third replied: “That pour on the left is the craziest pour of all time. What is that?”

Another commented: “I hope she gets sacked off the back of this tweet because those are criminal.”

A fifth added: “They tend to just pour them between glasses until they look right.”
