Hibernian FC and Fanatics have agreed to conclude their current retail and merchandising partnership at the end of the current season.
As a result, as of 1 June 2026, Hibernian FC will directly manage the Club’s retail operations, including in-store and online platforms.
The change follows amicable discussions between both parties.
Hibernian FC Chief Executive Officer, Dan Barnett, said: “We’d like to thank the team at Fanatics for helping to drive the Club forward from a retail perspective since they started working with us in Summer 2024.
“Building on these strong foundations, we are now excited to bring retail in-house to enable us to continue to enhance the retail experience for our supporters.”
Clare Dickinson, Senior Director of Football Partnerships at Fanatics, said: “We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together with Hibernian FC over the past two years and wish the Club every success going forward.
“Building a strong foundation for the Club, growing its retail sales, and serving its passionate supporters has been a pleasure, and we look forward to seeing the club go from strength to strength.”

Hibernian FC is planning to introduce signage that marks their 150th birthday this year, as Hearts has just been granted permission for a heritage trail to celebrate its same anniversary in 2024.
The Easter Road club wants to add signage to its stadium which highlights “150 years of Hibernian football club”.
This comes as Hibs reaches its 150th anniversary on Wednesday 6 August, and a range of events have been planned to mark the date.
Hibs want to introduce one “non-illuminated” sign which measures “5740mm x 5740mm” at the north stand entrance to the stadium.
