Edinburgh wellness studio relaunches with science-led approach

by Glasgow Report
in Health

AN EDINBURGH electro-muscle stimulation (EMS) studio has relaunched with a science-led approach under the new ownership of wellness expert Kate Golozubtseva.

Fitness in Minutes located at Church Hill Place in the heart of Morningside, has announced its transition from franchise model to an independent, premium wellness centre, and is one of only two facilities in Scotland to offer EMS technology.

The repositioning marks a significant shift in the studio’s philosophy. Whilst Kate has emphasised that the core of the business remains its highly efficient 20-minute EMS workouts, the new independent model will allow for a more personalised, holistic focus on long-term health and quality of life.

As part of this relaunch, Fitness in Minutes will also be introducing a number of medical-grade recovery services, specifically pressotherapy.

This advanced treatment uses air pressure to provide lymphatic drainage, improve circulation, and reduce inflammation.

Originally favoured by elite athletes for rapid recovery, pressotherapy has evolved into a vital resource for a diverse range of wellness goals.

The studio is already seeing significant interest from clients seeking the treatment to manage medical conditions such as lymphoedema, as well as those seeking a non-invasive, science-backed method to improve circulation and support long-term systemic health.

Fitness in Minutes also continues to offer its state-of-the-art 3D body scanning technology, which provides a comprehensive health check, measuring a number of features such as muscle mass and body fat distribution, as well as hydration levels and metabolic rate. This service will now also be available as a standalone mini health check.

Commenting on the new offering, Kate Golozubtseva said, “We are building on a strong foundation in Morningside and beyond, but this relaunch is about much more than just a change in ownership.

“It’s about creating a space that combines scientific excellence with a holistic approach to wellness.

“The challenge of maintaining health in a time-poor world is one many of us face.

“Our mission at Fitness in Minutes is to ensure that every individual, from busy professionals to those seeking low-impact longevity, feels supported by the most advanced fitness science available today.”
