The Africa Caribbean SMEs Network is introducing the first-ever event for small and medium enterprises in Liberia in June 2024. The network is making significant strides towards connecting SMEs from Africa and the Caribbean regions, to drive economic growth and promote sustainable development.
Supported by high-profile personalities like Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhar and Trinidadian President Paula-Mae Weekes, the network aims to leverage the
opportunities created by SMEs in these regions. With the current economic challenges experienced by these regions due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the
network seeks to connect entrepreneurs, investors, and key stakeholders for collaboration, learning and expansion.
Through the network, SMEs will be able to access funding, technical assistance and mentorship, as well as engage in knowledge transfer to leverage existing opportunities of growth.
As countries attempt to recover from economic downturns, the Africa-Caribbean SMEs Network aims to reconnect investors and empower small businesses to stabilize economies and engender growth that would position both Africa and the Caribbean as investment destinations of choice.
